Terms And Conditions

By placing your first deposit, you agree that you have carefully read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, and fully understand its contents. You are aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between yourself and Rising Road Journeys and agree to all terms and conditions of your own free will.

Rising Road Journeys, LLC is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, delay, irregularity or loss you may suffer or incur arising from the acts or failure to act on the part of any air carriers, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organization, whether or not such air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organization is rendering these services or accommodations offered or supplied on the tour. Rising Road Journeys, LLC accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, sickness, diseases, local laws, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, social or labor unrest, flight cancellations or misconnections due to mechanical problems, acts of God, strikes, government actions, war, terrorism or other causes, conditions, actions or omissions outside of Rising Road Journeys, LLC’s, control. All such losses will be borne by you. By embarking upon travel you voluntarily assume all risks. Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tour unless insured. Your booking shall constitute consent to the above. To guard against these unforeseen circumstances, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

TotaL Tour price

All prices are based on two persons sharing accommodation. Tour prices are based on land rates and rates of exchange in effect at the time of arrangements. All rates are subject to change without prior notice. Should the rates go up or down prior to departure, it is possible an adjustment will be made. As all services are contracted and prepaid on a group basis, no refunds can be granted for any accommodation, services, or events which are not used. If you deviate from the tour, no consideration can be given to a refund for unused services. Our tours are subject to a minimum number of people. Should fewer than the tour minimum participate a price adjustment may be necessary. All trips are subject to change at the discretion of Rising Road Journeys. Rising Road Journeys reserves the right to change or eliminate scheduled instructors, or travel managers from any land tour based on the number of participants or other factors.

TOUR Cancellation

If for any reason your reservation is canceled before the payment due dates, you will be assessed an administrative fee of $250 per person. On or after the payment due dates, full penalties apply based on amount paid, no refund will be paid on your reservation. Refunds are processed immediately and should be received up to eight weeks, depending on when we receive the refund back from the ground operator. In order to secure a refund, it must be send via email to info@risingroadjourneys.com.

Rising Road Journeys will cancel all tours that are related to natural disasters, coronavirus, terrorism, or any other unforeseen circumstances where we feel it is unsafe for our guests to travel. In the event this occurs, Rising Road Journeys will not be responsible for any refunds, however we will do our best to reschedule the same tour on a different date in the future. If the hotels or tour operators we use do not refund the money for this cancellation, the difference will be paid by the participant. Rising Road Journeys may at any time reschedule a tour or offer a credit to use for future bookings. Cancellations due to known, foreseeable, or expected events, epidemics, government prohibitions, travel warnings and advisories, or fear of travel are generally not refundable.

TOUR MEMBERSHIP

Rising Road Journeys, LLC, reserves the right to accept or reject any traveler and to remove from a tour any person whose conduct is inappropriate, dangerous and/or detrimental to the tour group or to himself or herself.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Land arrangements are provided as described in each tour program. Rising Road Journeys, LLC, reserves the right to substitute hotels for accommodations in similar categories.

MEALS

Meals are provided as specified in each tour program. Dinners in hotels are on a Table d’Hote basis.

VISITS, ENTERTAINMENT AND OTHER FEATURES

Rising Road Journeys, LLC, reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for other reasons beyond Rising Road Journeys, LLC’s, control.

LUGGAGE

Unless indicated otherwise, handling of one piece of luggage per person is included in the cost of all coach tours. Luggage is carried at owner’s risk throughout the tour unless insured. Hand baggage and small articles such as coats, umbrellas or cameras are entirely in the care of the passengers.

GRATUITIES

Tips for services of a personal nature and to the chauffeur/driver/guide are not included in the tour cost and are left to your discretion.

SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed on the coaches or in hotels

NOT INCLUDED

All items of a personal nature (included but not limited to room service, beverages, telephone charges, dry cleaning, laundry, special food requests) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger.
